ALEX Lightning

The Alexandria Soccer Association rising U12 Girls’ select soccer teams are holding open tryouts for experienced players. Girls born on or after August 1, 1996 are eligible.

Tryouts: June 2, 4, and 6 (5:30pm - 7:00pm) @ Ben Brenman soccer field (Cameron Station off Duke St.). Interested players are encouraged to come to all 3 tryout sessions but must attend a minimum of 2 sessions. Bring shin guards, cleats, water and ball. There are two squads -- Thunder and Lightning – who compete against other Northern Virginia teams in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League and the Old Dominion Soccer League, respectively. Coached by Bruce Fredrickson and Brent Harrison who have 15+ years of experience coaching soccer. REST Bobcats

The Reston Bobcats Travel Team are holding tryouts for rising U12 Girls for the Fall season. Tryouts will be on the following dates: (attendance is encouraged at all 3). Wednesday, May28th: 5:00-6:30pm at Lake Fairfax, Field 7A; Friday, May 30th: 6:30-8:00pm at Lake Fairfax, Field 7B; Tuesday, June 3rd: 6:30-8:00pm at Lake Fairfax, Field 7B. The Bobcats, under the leadership of Coach Howard Booth and Director of Player Development Jaon Ahmad, place emphasis on developing trust in order to maximize the player’s development to their fullest potential in a positive learning environment. Players must be born between August 1, 1996 and July 31, 1997. An informational parent’s meeting will be held Thursday, May 22nd at 8:00pm at Buzz Aldrin Elementary School in Reston. CHAN Panthers 96 Red

Chantilly Panthers '96 Red girls team is seeking committed players for the 2008 - 2009 season. We are looking for players who could add speed and strength to this developing travel team. The Panthers are coached by Jim Nieves, who currently coaches with the Herndon High School Boys Varsity Soccer team. We're looking for players who are competitive, athletic, and willing to work hard to develop their soccer skills. Our tryout dates are June 3rd and 5th and June 10th and 12th, 6:30-8pm, at Crossfields Elementary School (field is up the hill behind the school). MCLN Challengers Gold and Silver

Rising U12 McLean Challengers Gold and Silver (www.mcleansoccer.org) will hold tryouts 06/09, 06/11, 06/13 from 6-7:30, Friday at Lemon Road Elementary School and Monday/Wednesday at the Police Field (see directions on ODSL website).
